I used to live in the brick apartment building across the street and can tell you, as you probably figured out on your own, the area is not great to begin with.  Between bums arguing in front of our stoop, constant noise from the Big Apple on the corner, and of course the lovely patrons of Rockin' Ricky's I'm not sure if I can remember a period of more than ten minutes that was not chaotic.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm hoping, once the economy picks up, the area will start to pick up.
